Origami Showcase

For one week I got very into making origami. My mom was worried about my brother's finals and the US news at the time was devastating. Folding paper gave me a chance to look away from the screen and do something with my hands.

Here's how you can make bold and italic text.

The first thing I made was a crane, that origami classic. I've never done it before and I thought it would be a cool challenge. This would be the first time I would see a petal fold, a pattern I would see in many other models.:

Yeah!, it looks so cool, Joker! I don't have images of the next models, which were another crane, a monkey, and a fox. On some of them I put messages for my brother to see in the morning.

Like in this dragon, which I later wrote "Slay those exams". Most of these models have been recycled, since keeping so much paper around becomes clutter.

Now THIS was big one. A lot of folding and unfolding happened with this angel, as I hadn't done anything of this complexity before. I got the design from here and after a good deal of sweating and rewinding the video by five seconds with every step, I did it.
The angel now guards my bedroom door, taped in placed, warding off paper demons maybe idk. Ask Henry Baker, I guess. I chose the angel after a band I like, Origami Angel. They wrote what I consider one of Songs of all Time, Noah Fence.
